Who Is On the Team

Each role writes its own part of the bid and raises its own numbered issues, so you always know which discipline a question came from.

SE-001

Structural Engineer

Reads every drawing by vision, page by page and in 3 x 3 tiles. Writes a note per drawing: title-block facts, levels, element schedule, key dimensions, assumptions, open questions. Never guesses an unreadable value.

QS-001

Quantity Surveyor

Flags BQ errors first: wrong-column formulas, duplicate item letters, orphan items, mismatched units. Prices every item with a material, labour and plant build-up and labels each quantity measured, derived, assumed or missing.

PM-001

Project Manager

Programme logic, formwork cycles, cranes, hoists and pumping, logistics and trade interfaces, the Technical Risk Register and method statements adapted from your past submissions.

CM-001

Contracts and Commercial

Reads the Conditions of Contract clause by clause: LAD, bonds, retention, insurances, payment, fluctuation, EOT, time bars, indemnities, design liability and DLP.

QA-001

QA/QC Engineer

Inspection and Test Plan, testing and inspection schedule and a nine-section Project Quality Plan framework.

HS-001

HSE Officer

Tender HSE compliance checklist, major-hazard issues, HIRARC, safety methods and the HSE plan, referenced to OSHA, FMA, BOWEC and DOSH.

PL-001

Planner

Writes 30 to 150 activities with durations and links. The server calculates dates and the critical path, and the Planner must fix a late finish honestly or raise it.

EN-001

Resources Engineer

Labour and plant per activity, 10 to 25 key materials with lead times, and key personnel with qualifications.

Lead-001

Bid Lead

Writes the bid summary, tender information, submission checklist, 80-risk list and bid plan, then reports in plain English: total, finish date, how much is measured, top risks and open questions.

Three Ways To Work with the Team

Generate

The full run: read, measure, price, review and draft the whole bid from the tender pack.

Refresh

Reruns only the roles whose issues you answered, and reports the tender total before and after.

Work in the Open Bid

Ask in chat for one change, such as "re-rate pumping above level 30", and only that changes.

Facts, Never Invented

The team works under one rule: never fabricate a quantity or a drawing fact. Every issue taken from a document carries its reference.

  • Document, page and clause on every issue, with a short quote under 40 words
  • Every quantity labelled measured, derived, assumed or missing
  • Unreadable values become open questions to the consultant, not guesses
  • Severity is high when an item is over about 2% of the bill, affects LAD or safety

AI Bid Team Questions

What does /prepare-bid do?
It turns the tender documents attached to a task, the BQ, drawings, specifications and Conditions of Contract, into a priced, reviewable bid with issue registers, a tender programme and a resource plan. Eight AI roles do the work: structural engineer, quantity surveyor, project manager, contracts, QA/QC, HSE, planner and resources.
How many questions does it ask?
Between 5 and 14, chosen from what the quick scan found rather than a fixed list. Every question has a recommended answer already picked, and you can accept all recommendations in one go. Questions you skip become issues that state what was assumed.
Does the AI do the arithmetic?
No. The AI reads, measures, judges prices and drafts. The server does every deterministic step itself: BQ parsing, totals, checks, scheduling, risk scoring and every Excel, Word and PowerPoint file. That keeps the arithmetic exact and repeatable.
What happens when the employer issues an addendum?
Use /update-bid. The AI writes an Update Plan listing each change with the current value, the proposed value, the reason and the source. Nothing changes until you reply. A value that changed since the plan was written is skipped and reported, never overwritten.
Does it learn from past bids?
Yes. It finds up to three similar past bids in your organisation and offers their rates as a starting point, reuses earlier answers for the same BQ, and saves lessons that are applied on later runs.
